After ordering a Volca Beats in May, I expect to receive mine tomorrow.
While awaiting the moment I can play with it, I downloaded the manual and mentioned there is already a firmware update for the Volca Beats avaialble on the Korg site.
The installation document doesn't give any clue about the changes/improvements in this new firmware.
My guess is it contains some minor bug fixes.
The update is a Wave file and when playing it on my computer (warning: low volume only) it brings back some good old memories of my Commordore 64 days.
Anyone here who knows about bugs in the Volca Beats or what is in this update?

I read the same thing. Minor bug update. Possibly the play button or something. I performed the update on my unit & couldn't tell any difference.
Shame really because i was hoping for extra features...Oh well, we can live in hope, it's not too late yet.

I was experiencing significant sync loss before the update.
This occurred only when syncing Beats>Bass (Beats as master clock).
With peak at 100% on Bass filter, steps would get skipped randomly, throwing Bass out of sync with Beats.
Things has been stable since the upgrade. Perhaps that was one of the bugs?
