The Ikaossilator is a Ton of Fun

I can not believe I waited this long to pick this up for the Ipad. In no time it was sparking major creativity. At first I just messed around with it alone before boarding Audiobus with it and then the fun got really wild just by using one track of the Ikaossilator along with two tracks of Morphwiz combined within Cubasis.
Korg if you are listening I would love to get an IKP3 to slide into the effects chain on the bus/wink,wink.
Seriously if you have not already tried the Ikaossilator you are in for some wicked creative surges in my opinion at least.
This is almost as wicked as getting Karma for the M50, I may never sleep again.

With a great review like that I will have to take another look at it. Can you play it with an external midi controller or are you limited to the iPad screen.?

I don't think you can use external midi but I only picked it up late last night so I am not positive.

Actually it is the interface of the screen that I find so refreshing however.
I am not planning on doing full productions with it although it would be very possible. I am using it to quickly create a musical sketch so to speak to work with inside of cubasis or whatever daw I am using either on the Ipad itself or on my PC.
I am loving the spontaneous aspects of the app.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a KO2 and a KPro. The touch interface is a lot of fun and they have great sounds. I have sometimes wanted to use the sounds in a sequence but the hardware versions don't respond to note on messages although I may have a solution for that.

In any case I was hoping the iKaosilator would also have some some of external interface.
