Hello all,
I have problem with Korg Trinity. When I play on it they make strange sounds. Sound occurs when keys are pressed and it´s like welding. I don´t understand why it do it. Does anyone know where the problem?

I understand English may not be your first language, however you need to give more detailed information.
Where are the sounds coming from?
Is it physical/mechanical? Or through the audio outputs?

Does it occur with all of Trinity preset programs?
What do you have your Trinity connected to (to hear the sound)?
Could you be overloading an input somewhere, causing it to clip and create digital distortion? Does the distortion occur if you lower the Trinity volume?
Check your entire sound path. Specifically the levels from your Trinity outputs, and the levels of your soundcard inputs, and the recording/monitoring levels in your DAW, and the levels from your soundcard outputs, and finally the levels driving/amplifying your speakers/monitors. Make sure absolutely nothing is clipping (going into the red).
You could try swapping the Trinity with another synth briefly in order to see if it is the audio chain, or indeed the Trinity.

I tried all presets...and it was same on all of it....
Trinity was contected to more PA systems and monitors.
Could you be overloading an input somewhere, causing it to clip and create digital distortion?
I checked all way from Trinity to PA/monitors and everything was OK.
I´m sure that problem is with Trinity.

If you really think it is a problem with the trinity itself, you can download the service manual .pdf here on KF. Towards the end of the manual is the complete step by step on how to check each individual system in the keyboard. Be aware, this is a relatively long, complicated process so read up first!
