I edited a 1 measure piece in the sequencer, intending to use it as a fill for a customized style.
When I brought it into the style editor and set it as Fill 2, it added an extra measure before it. It seems to always do this whenever anything from the sequencer is imported into the style editor.
I went into Style Edit and removed the extra 1st measure using Cut. For some reason, it seems to remove the 2nd measure and not the first one it added! This was never an issue in longer phrases I imported but it seems to be an issue with this 1-measure phrase.
Any ideas?

That's really weird 
I know that it always add one extra measure but you say you cant cut it. Try some alternative like increasing the number of measures in the fill. That will copy the first measures into next one, so after that you can try with cuting again for example the first 3 measures, and in the forth you will have your fill.
