New site for patches

Post by Magna »

Hi kromies, just registered for new site www.leadsounds.com ,its a rebrand of S4K I think....just wondered if anybody knows whether the Pink Floyd pack for the M3/M50 would work on the krome....looks worth the money...waiting for a reply from the site owners, but if any one has any experience with the company, id appreciate the feedback.

Regards

I would be interested after seeing the demo to know this as well. We don't have those chord trigger buttons on our Krome, would we lose some of the functionality?

Bought the Pink Floyd set for M50 tonight, a little more than the $25 I expected but they list the M3 pack as "out of stock". Oh well. I can say this though, THEY ARE AS ADVERTISED!! Very well programmed and dammit, they sound just like Rick Wright's set ups! LOVE THEM ALL, WELL DONE!

Just wait a little more and tell me how good are these programs.

I've sent an email to the website for a test/review purpose, I will tell you if these patches are interesting or not ;)

Floyd sound pack

Post by Sanctuary »

I've been thinking of purchasing the Floyd pack but am still awaiting answers back from the company.
In the meantime I wondered if anyone who has the pack could answer these basic questions:

Is the file just a PCG file that draws only on the internal Krome samples or do you have to load new sample files (in a similar way to the Dan Stesco pack) ?

Do you get new programs and combinations? If so, which bank and how many?

Thanks

There are around 40 progs in the pack ( bank F I think )...its a while since I used them as ive just bought the dan stesco krome pack and im playing with that at the moment....I think there are a few new samples, but no combis........One thing I did notice is, when you have the Floyd pack loaded, certain on board combis are affected. To return the combis back to there original state, you have to factory reset....One more thing ...when you do the factory reset, the Floyd pack still remains in Bank F...although if you try to use it the sounds are all wrong...so you have to reload again to play Floyd again.......In summary its a bit faffy but worth it.
