Using joystick to control program

Post by motifvader »

I am using a weighted keyboard to control my K61. In a combi it comes in on MIDI ch. 2. Can I/how do I get the joystick to control the sound that the external board is triggering? Sorry if this is an obvious newbie question.
Thanks for any guidance that you can provide!

Enable KARMA, then at the KARMA: GE Setup/Key Zones page make these settings for one module.

In channel: global channel

Out channel: channel 2

Run and Thru Inside Zone: both disabled

Now the module should take all Kronos controller data (no notes), convert to channel 2 & output to the timbre. Notes sent from the other board on channel 2 will sound the timbre.

If timbres on a certain channel stop sounding, this usually means another KARMA module has its in & out set to that channel. To correct this just change one or both to a different, unused channel.
