Volca Beats and YAMAHA AN1x internal clock

hi all..

i want to use my AN1x`s tempo as a master for the Volca Beats..
i tried from the AN1x MIDI Out into the Beats MIDI In, but none result sofar..

when the AN1x and Beats are hanged into Ableton both follow Ableton being the master tempo

so my question is: is it possible anyway that i can use my Yamaha AN1x stepseqeuncer as a mastertempo for the Volca Beats.. ??

I cant talk about that Yammie device. I picked up an old Yamaha QY10 some years ago . Couldnt figure it out. Pulled it out of the drawer and tried again . It will control start/stop of my Beats and Bass - control tempo - and then a tune started popping out of the Bass. It will program melodies.

Can't remember the button configuration now but be sure to set the volca beats clock to external. It's one of the power up & button combination procedures but i don't use mine so i can't remember now.
It should i guess then clock to whatever external source clock you plug in if you device channels are all set right.

It should also sync when in its default mode of "Auto" clock, my keys does

well,.. my beloved An1x,.. doesnt send MIDI Clock Out!!! unfortunately

soooo, dear KORG,.. please make a mini SQ10 for us

(for the moment im gonna use my KORG 01Wfd as master tempo device)
