Greetings from Eugene! ... Why no subsection for ProX?

Post by madisonmeadow »

Hi everyone, I'm returning to this forum after a long hiatus, hoping to help myself and a student get the most out of our Tritons. I see sections listed for Classic and Studio and Extreme, etc, but nothing dedicated to the ProX... suggestions?

For what it's worth here, our first concerns are:

1) what are people feeling is the best option to save samples these days? We are SCSI equipped, but not sure whether to use a Zip or Jazz or some other HD, and wondering if people have found any options to work more conveniently than others

2) are there any good editors/librarians for the ProX that can be used with a Mac currently?

3) How do folks go about connecting the keyboard to a computer, SCSI-to-USB or floppy-to-USB (or something else?)

(I understand that these questions might be best directed to another section of the forum, but given the lack of a Triton ProX section I wasn't quite sure where to go...)

But in any case, "Hi!" "How are you all doing?" and "Nice to meet you!" We are currently teaching and making lots of cool music with adults and youth alike and are also very active with music theater out here in Eugene, Oregon.

Thanks a bunch, and a very Happy New Year to all of you! :)

Because the Triton ProX is just the regular Triton Classic but with 88 keys?
I would try a post in the Classic section.

Welcome (back) by the way!
