Hi everyone.
I'm asking a very simple question.
Can I make my OWN beats on the PX5D? This is a great device, but I just can't find the beats I like in the rythm section. The so called "sound editor" software allows you to modify what is already available. Can I create a beat from scratch?
If not, is there any alternative/software I can use to get the beat I want?

Anyhow...Vince203, the short answer is "NO".
The long answer is that there is a way but you will need a DAW that will allow you to create your own midi patterns and then you send the midi file through the Pandora software. It's not a direct solution and it is kind of a pain in the ass to do. Honestly you would do better jamming with a used Electribe ES1 you you can look at the new KR mini http://www.korg.com/us/products/drums/kr_mini/
I hope this helps.
