NanoPAD2 working! Kind of. Help please

Evening

Just got a NanoPAD2 and installed everything correctly. I think

I'm in MIDI port 5

My DAW can see the device, and when using with the drum program it works; but I can't get Kontrol Editor to work

I'm running Windows 7 x64

If I don't have my DAW running, then Kontrol Editor works. It recognises the connected device and will allow me to make changes.

However. In order to use the device in the DAW I have to select the correct midi options, but seemingly when I do this, it prevents Kontrol Editor from recognising the device and it doesn't offer it (or anything) as an option to select when the SW loads

I've got it connected to a MicroKEY if that is relevant

Anyone got any suggestions?
