Load samples from hard drive into memory by using MIDI ??

Post by EdK »

HI everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to load samples from the Triton's hard drive into memory by using MIDI commands.

I can't find anything in the MIDI Implementation guide or the SYSEX Implementation guide.

I have several samples that I created which I use while performing. Problem is, once you turn off the power, all the samples that I loaded into memory are gone therefore whenever I power up again, I have to manually load all the samples into memory again.

Would like to automate this process if possible by using a series of MIDI commands where I can simply create a "SETUP" midi file on my iPAD or computer and all my samples are loaded automatically rather than having to do each one manually.

Any have any ideas?

Thanks! Ed
