Coffee in my C520 piano - how to disassemble

Discussion relating to all other KORG Pianos related products that don’t have a dedicated section. For example, SP170, SP250, SP280, LP380, MICROPIANO and so on....

Coffee in my C520 piano - how to disassemble

Post by weepingboil »

Oops - I've spilt a bit of coffee in-between the keys and now a low C# has stopped working.

I'm guessing that the contacts need cleaning...

I've managed to open the top cover but I'm not sure how to reach/remove the keyboard assembly.

Has anyone got any experience of pulling this beasty apart?

If you still have the C-520 with the damaged key , I have a C-520 with a perfect keyboard.
