MicroX: generic power supply or KA-310?

Post by boy2man86 »

Hi all - I just bought a used MicroX off ebay from a reputable dealer, but it did not include a power supply. I bought a generic one off ebay, but the male connector doesn't fit entirely into the MicroX and so the unit can't turn on.

I just ordered a Korg KA-310 from eBay but it'll be a week before I get it.

There's always the possibility that the MicroX is a dud and I need to return it to the seller, but has anyone gotten a generic power supply to work? Maybe my generic power supply just has an extra long connector?

Thank you!

i have one of those multi-power supplies from Radio Shack that does work, but you do have to use the exact right plug - the ones that don't go all the way in are not the exact right one, and won't work. But if the Radio Shack Power Supply has multiple end-plugs that you can attach to the main unit to accomodate different appliances/keyboards, there should be the correct one for an X50. Good luck! :D
