Greetings to all,
I've just purchased a Kronos 61 on eBay.uk with just 6 months old (like new), and noticed that 2 black keys, when depressed, make a strange 'metallic' noise, which is annoying when you play them. It doesn't get any better as much as you play.
Is there any fix for this problem without having to send the keyboard back to an official Korg repair centre here in Portugal ?
Thank you very much.

Help with brand new Kronos 61 key noise

I do not know if this an answer to your question but mine had a couple keys that made noise, and the cover over the joy stick would rattle when playing. Best thing I did was take the bottom off, realign how the board set and tighten it all up. All rattles and key noises are gone. Just saying, things get loose. If you not comfortable inside electronic devices maybe you have a friend who is in capable or a good tech you can visit.
My board had a bit of wiggle room around the screws so one side was slid into the Kronos farther then the other side. A very small amount but I made it even and slid it left and right to center it and tightened everything up so that all dimensions fit my eye. I did not take a ruler to it, just made it so it looked right and didn't rattle anywhere or wiggle around.
For instance the way I have it set now is better aligned to my eye then the way it sat before. Set and sat get it? Set as in where it is sitting in place now.
