Arpeggio Tempo Editing HELP!

Hi Korgianos!

I need help on changing the pre-loaded arpeggio tempo in my Trinity Program setting sounds.

The Trinity doesn't have an arpeggiator.

If you're using tempo delay or other similar effects in Program settings you can go into the individual effects and change the Mode from Manual to D-Mod (Tempo). Then you can specify the bpm below it.

I appreciate the respond but it's still not working. anybody out there that knows how to edit the tempo on a program preloaded sound??? Prog B080 The Mind.

There's no arp on the Trinity, so you need to look at where the modulation is coming from - it could be an LFO or an effect like "sample and hold" or a randomized flanger, or it might be a ping-longed delay.

All of the above would make a perceived tempo-based pattern - what you've described as an arp - the exact timing of the "beat" you're hearing would depend on the millisecond setting (I don't think trinity has anything like a BPM counter.)

A quick search of the 'net should give you a mS-to-BPM conversion; i.e., 1000 ms = 1 BPS, or 60 BPM. 500 ms = 2 BPS, or 120 BPM.

I've looked at that program (The Mind). The 'stepping' you hear is are two S&H (sample & hold) Filter LFOs modulating the two filters individually.

The Frequency (rate) of both of these are set manually, and not clocked to tempo.

Go to P4, and open the Filter 1 LFO and Filter 2 LFO tabs. You can see the 'Freq.' value at the top of the screen (which are set to '80' for that program). Changing this will alter the frequency rate of each individual LFO. You will need to alter the rate of both of them (Filter LFO 1 and 2) to keep them sync'd.

Below this (in the Frequency Modulation section), you can use Tempo as a means of modulating the Freq rate (as an AMS source) for when you use the patch in Sequencer mode, but it's not actually clocked to tempo. You will need to manually alter the Freq. rates to fine tune it.

Go to P3, and open the 'Filter1 Mod' and 'Filter2 Mod' tabs and look toward the bottom of the screen. You can see this is where the Filter LFOs are being applied ('Intensity to A', and 'Intensity to B') in the 'Filter LFO' section. It's quite complex as there are actually two filters per filter (1a and 1b, and 2a and 2b, each in parallel), so there are actually four modulations being applied by the two Filter LFOs overall.

Filter1 LFO modulates Filter 1a by +40, and 1b by -15.
Filter2 LFO modulates Filter 2a by +32, and 2b by +8.

To be clear then, the frequency rate is going to be where you'll set/change the tempo; for that a ms/BPM conversion table will help.

The flitter section will control the range of movement of the filters - how far apart the filter settings are - but not the tempo.
