TR Rack - check ROM

Just reset TR rack, I searched the internet to find the hold edit and A4 when switching on (rather than read the manual) and came across: Check ROM: Hold "Edit" and ">" while powering on, o.s 1.0.4. Could not find any notes about it. Tried it, pushed some buttons. Anybody know a bit more about it?
