SV1 Stand (ST-SV1) lost "spring screw"
Any ideas how I can order a replacement "spring screw" for my SV1 stand (ST-SV1)? It's the screw that is held on by a pin and goes up into the bottom of the keyboard to tighten it to the stand. Any help appreciated!

For parts and that sort of thing you'd need to check with your local Korg dealer.

No luck
I've tried my Dealer (who is a close personal friend and is in my band) - who checked with his Korg rep - who said he can't get them. I've also tried the parts link from the Korg website who replied that they do not sell them. I can't imagine that replacement parts simply don't exist. Someone has to have made these screws - I'm baffled (and very frustrated) over the whole ordeal.
Well, I'm sorry, that really stinks that your Korg connection isn't able to do this. Makes me super glad I didn't buy a Korg stand.
On a "need to replace nonworking key" post, I posted these web pages as sources for parts. You might take a look there for what you need, just an idea:
Replacement keys are available on the web, HERE:
http://www.syntaur.com/K54U.html
parts (spare keys):
http://www.guitar-parts.com/catalog/kor ... -sv1-sp250
If that doesn't work, what I would try if I were you, is (a) take an example of the pin-screw-spring thing that you need down to the local hardware nuts & bolts store and talk to the guys there. After that, (b) get some recommendations from them for local metalworkers and fabricators. Somebody will be able to make the part for you.
And then you can report back here as to what worked for you.
Hopefully you'll have an interesting story to share, at least.
All the best!
