Frustration with the interface

Post by AERI »

Hi, I've owned the Krome for about 3 months now. I've really tried to get on with it but I'm finding some things illusive.
Example, Dedicating the filter cutoff to just one sound in a Combi. If I'm playing a bass or pad with my left hand and a lead sound with my right, then I want to adjust the cutoff for the lead, how do I do it?

I don't fully understand the midi assignments of a combi. Do I have to assign the sounds to the same channel? Are the 16 midi channels usable with a combi?

Can I assign a sound to a midi channel for the same midi channel in my daw to automatically play just that sound?

What about synthesis?
What is the best way to create my own sounds?
I've tried the vst and it is ok, but is the same level of editing the same in the UI on the Krome?

Hi.

Sorry that no one on the forum has answered your post for so long...

You can control the filters for a track on a combo's midi filter page.... there are specific midi receive inputs that you can turn off for each track... just look carefully through the pages for them.

Yes... at fist the Krome interface is overwhelming, but spend time with the instrument and you'll see that it actually makes sense.

Use page+[number] to jump to pages and enter+number to jump to menus.
