korg pa50 and akai z4 sampler HELP...

Hello everyone,

I have a korg pa50 and an akai z4 sampler rack.
I cannot find a solution for my problem so I will be very glad if someone can help me.

I select a style on korg pa50 and I want to use only a piano sound from my akai as upper.
I can hear the piano sound of akai but i hear also the upper sound of korg(right hand).
I want to play a korg style and hear only akai piano on right hand and not korg's sts or any other sounds.

Can somebody help me.I dont know much about midi.I connected korg in to akai out and korg out to akai in.

Hi Jim,
You may need to setup the global midi parameters.
You can assign what midi is received and sent on all the channels there.
Oh yeah, maybe don't connect the return midi cable back to Akia that might cause a loop issue.
