I dropped my monotron on the floor, and it has stopped function as usual - so basically I got just Monotron now, without the delay (feedback-time) part.
I disassembled the case but didn't see any physical damages to the PCB. But I'm noob in electronics.
What might happen and how can I fix it?

With the small size of the SMDs (surface mount devices) and the very thin connections on the PCB, it is doubtful that you could identify a hairline crack or a broken SMD contact by sight without access to a magnifying glass. On top of that, the damage can be internal to one of the components. Tracking those faults requires access to at least a multi-meter, and preferably an oscilloscope. Repair requires soldering equipment and possibly even experience in soldering SMD components.evanowe wrote:I dropped my monotron on the floor, and it has stopped function as usual - so basically I got just Monotron now, without the delay (feedback-time) part.
