Bouncing All Tracks to Disk Fails to Finish

Post by ParsonPage »

When I attempt to "bounce all tracks to disk" (to create a WAVE file) it works fine until around 4.5 minutes into the song. At that point, the Kronos stops "sampling" and the creation of my WAVE file is cut short. I wind up with a WAVE file that' missing the last 40 seconds of the song.

I don't have many songs stored on the Kronos, so I don't see why it would be some kind of internal memory issue. PLUS, I have attempted to bounce the song/WAVE file to an external, portable hard drive. I get the same result.

Help on this issue from fellow users is appreciated.

I wonder if the Bounce All Tracks to Disk command is linked to the Sample Time setting on the Play/Rec > Audio In/Sampling tab ...? Have a look at that setting and perhaps increasing the value there will solve the issue. I don't know if it will work, but worth a shot I suppose.

You're welcome. Glad it worked.

The Parameter Guide and Operation Guide do not mention that the Bounce All Tracks to Disk command is linked to the Sample Time setting. Perhaps they ought to...

Page 153 go the OG "Resampling a song to create a Wave file" mentions the sampling time requirement and how to do it.
"To me the synthesizer was always a source of new sounds that musicians could use to expand the range of possibilities for making music."
