HI all. I'm new here....I have a Korg X50 which I love (in fact I'm a guitarist but I use it for simple keys parts when recording). Can you tell me how I can check the version of software I have? I've been trying to set up the 1-9 buttons with patches so I can quickly access them using the /HOLD button but the manual doesn't make much sense to me and I can't get it to work. Could it be the s/w version? Of a quick guide would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Charlie

Hi Charlieboy,

In the MicroX it is showed briefly (very briefly!) during power up in the lower right corner of the display. I can read 1.0.5 in my unit. Probably the X50 will be similar. I think you need at least version 1.0.1 to have the favorites functionality, but why not updating to the last version anyway :-)?

There is a user guide available for this functionality included in the update package (zip) for version 1.0.3 (at least). Just go to the korg support site and look for the X50 OS updates.

Regards,
Jcg.
