Sorry for my many questions, But I must ask all of this!
That is the only way to go deeper and deeper with that amazinggggg PA3X!!!
How can He play the kontakt sampler With the pa3x?
SAlman

Good day to you, Salman,
The PA3X in the GLOBAL menus allows you to set the MIDI OUT CHANNELS to different parts that the STYLE usually plays with the PA3X's own sounds ( such as drums, percussion, bass, ACC1...5, Lower, UPPER 1...3. You can then direct those MIDI note and control messages through various channels to KONTAKT etc. to play sounds in that computer program. With 16 channels, you could trigger up to 16 different sounds and layer them within KONTAKT without limit (hypothetically, although too much is TOOOOOOO much)
You can, of course, take the audio out of your computer to the AUDIO in of the PA3X so that all sounds come out of the same amplification system.
Some of the KONTAKT KOMPLETE extensive library of sounds have "sounds" that trigger sequences of chord strums or musical phrases etc. and those require some careful thought before triggering by any other MIDI OUT signals from the PA3X than the ones that you play. I have KOMPLETE 9 plus others and a PA3X and have actually done this. However, to be practical, I prefer to keep my set up and crack down simple and having a laptop computer on site makes theft more tempting and time-consuming setup/sound checking take even longer. In-studio set up is another matter.
MIDI is actually extremely easy to learn and allows you to connect many other controllers like a one or two-octave bass pedalboard, a controller of pads that could be used to trigger the drum or percussion sounds, another keyboard of 25, 49 or 88 keys to play selected tracks, mouth, finger, etc. (Don't forget aftertouch for DNC functionality.)
One trick I use is to put a desirable solo instrument on UPPER 3 and then play that with my M-Audio Axiom 49 MIDI controller or M-Audio Axiom 25 MIDI controller. In order to keep that UPPER 3 instrument silent when I am playing the other 2 sounds (UPPER 1 and UPPER 2) on the UPPER section of the PA3X keyboard, I set the key range for UPPER 3 to one note for the upper and lower note (usually change the lower to same value as the upper and save it). Now all I have to do is reach to the other keyboard and start to play as you would with a pipe organ with several keyboards. I know that there are other ways to do this within the PA3X but I like the freedom this way offers me when I get creative and get in the sweet spot.
In the case of sending, let's say. the BASS sequence from the STYLE to an external KONTAKT or other MIDI sound source, you may wonder how to do that if you don't want the PA3X's sound to also be heard. After all, you can't silence the BASS using the key-range trick. You want to keep volume control working as if it were the normal PA3X operation and if you simply slide the volume level down to zero, the external sound source also goes to zero volume. It's easy. Just find a
blank USER or FACTORY sound and set the STYLE to memorize that as the PA3X "sound" it plays. Now it plays BLANK (no sound) AND the external sound at whatever volume level you select on the PA3X sliders and now you have an external sound working just as though it were one of the PA3X's ! This is one solution for users who have and prefer KONTAKT (or other computer-based programs') organ etc. sounds and they can program the PA3X to operate all the controls they use within those external DAWs (Digital Audio Workspaces).
Similarly, but not on the exactly identical topic, ... with AUDIO OUT 1 and 2 directed as AUDIO inputs into Native Instrument's Guitar Rig or another favourite DAW and the result back into AUDIO IN you could apply a whole new unlimited set of daisy-chained guitar stomp box and audio effects to one of your PA3X sounds (WARNING: Master Volume does not adjust AUDIO OUT or AUDIO IN volume levels but the individual track's volume would operate).
The only limit is your imagination and your budget and time for the learning curve and practise/proving your own configurations.
