Hi I'm VERY well versed in AU plug-ins and Mainstage 2. And I am having zero luck in getting the plug-in to make sound. Kross connected to MBP via USB I'm getting a midi response, my MS keyboard object is showing a key being pressed, as well as the graphical keyboard on the plug-in....but no sound at all going into the channel strip.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!
LOVE the Kross so far in general though!

typical, I eventually answer my own question (I DO read the manuals and docs and forums first always....but the info is dense of course!):
Despite being called a "Plug-In Editor", it is not a normal software instrument plug-in. It does NOT create audio that goes through the DAW. You have to get audio out of the Kross's audio outs and route that back into your DAW via your audio interface. I THINK, though, that you CAN add effects from the DAW to the Kross that way. Otherwise its just a convenient way to edit your cross within the DAW window.

I think you are completely correct in all of that.Salzbunny wrote:typical, I eventually answer my own question (I DO read the manuals and docs and forums first always....but the info is dense of course!):

I too get to a point of being totally baffled by something, post the question, and almost always immediately figure it out myself.
