New 80's synth pop cover

Post by iamtheswordmaster »

Hi guys,

maybe you want to take a listen to my new cover of the great 80's synth pop hit THE GREAT COMMANDMENT by CAMOUFLAGE.

Everything you hear (except the vocals) comes from my trusty Korg M50.

I'm loving the sound of 80's synth pop and planning to do some more of this stuff in the near future - just for fun.

Enjoy and feel free to leave a comment. ;-)

Not bad and that with M-50 ^^

I Like Camouflage very much, they come nearly 50 km from my home...
Love and peace to everyone :-)

That's cool, I'm from Germany, too... :-)

The M50 is no Kronos, but I think it's a really underrated synth... If you program your own sounds and you know what you're doing, the synth engine of the M50 is very powerful. I'm more into electronic sounds (love the sounds of the 80s) and so my setup with the M50, the classic microKorg and the Kaoss Pad 3 works very well for me.

Wait until you hear the next 80s cover I'm still working on.. the sounds are much more complex and even better sounding... ;-)

Yes the M-50 is no KRONOS, but that would raise your capabilities to endless possibilities!

If you like 80s sounding it is a "must have" instrument, because of MS-20, Polysix and AL-1 engines are so powerful and own an analog reproducing never heard before...
Love and peace to everyone :-)

Yes, I see your point, no question about that... but as always it's a price question, too.. ;-)

When I see your recording system it must be a low budget to get a KRONOS ;-) Wish I would have nearly your equipment...
Love and peace to everyone :-)

Got it all piece by piece... Took me a couple of years to get it all together. But now it's a nice bunch of gear to record songs on, that's true... But now there's no money left for a Kronos... :-D
