Samples PCM

Hi buddies:

I recently purchased a PA600, but I find it difficult to load PCM samples in the keyboard.
Can anyone guide me on the steps to upload files that I have in wav?
Should I perform the conversion prior to some specific format?

I think it is NOT possible to do this in the PA600.

I remeber i read that you´ve to prepare the Data in another Keyboard with the Sampler function e.g. PA3X and then you can load to PA600 but not do this work directly in the PA600.

If this is not correct - please correct me.

allo correct... i've often used a friend's pa900 for import my soundfont wavetable, then save in .set format and you can load it also in pa600

I don't have a PA600 but it may be interesting to use the software Awave Studio

But still you would have to use another keyboard to load the samples first.

You need a PA900, PA3X LE or PA900 to create the PCG and PCM files needed to load sounds into the PA600

There are some youtube videos etc showing editing pa900 pcm files , pasting own sample and then saving and loading into pa600!

anyone tried it? and does that work?

I would love to get a custom sample or two injected in now and then.

I tried that with some enigma sample with adobe audition and it didn't seem to work.

anyone got some pa900 sounds/sets with a few RAMxx.pcm files, I could
give it a try again.

does it allow sample import for example from a wav file?
and does it have a demo version.?

I have full version and I can, but try to contact author for demo possibility.
I believe is all, but only 14 days.

I have a full version of the KORG PA Manager v2, so if I have my personal samples in wave format, I can use Sample Manager to create my new instrument sound for the PA600? I'm confused

Ok I'm succesfully imported all of my samples into the Sample Manager but I still can not create a new Multisample name to assign those samples to it. Could you show me how to create a new multisample?

Is not supporting yet creating new multisample.

There's a way to import a wav in the korg. Korg pa600 sample editor is a software that can replace a pcm sample by your wav. Go and see the topic i add in "software developpers" section or see youtube with key words "korg pa600 sample editor" (see first the video that show how to create single sample pcm from multisample pcm first step to create your sample).
