Does the Kronos sound like it has a little more sparkle?

Seriously....and I don't just make up stuff.

Did they change ANYTHING else at all? that would have affect the way the board sounds.

(sparkle is a great thing by the way)

Sympathetic Resonance could definitely be considered "sparkle" if you're talking about the pianos.

yeah i def hear it in the pianos... but I haven't changed any of the programs. I thought I read that you have to program the new piano features into the current presets if you wanted to use them.

Update psychoacoustics?

My Kronos looks like new to me with all these setlist colours. :)

To me, the Kronos sounds the same after the update. But ya know, I definitely believe that if you think something sounds better, then it does..
to you.

I agree and also noticed a difference that could easily be called sparkle. I don't know if its my imagination or if it is real, as I cannot A/B the sounds to know for sure. But it does sound different, and not just the pianos.

New Update

Post by benny ray »

The 9 band EQ in Setlist makes a difference to my ear as well and it seems to give the whole keyboard a fresh look and fresh sound also but I hope I am not the only one but the Kapro Private Collection does not impress me what u think?

Yes it's me, although I'm not a Yamaha employee. I've done a lot of stuff for Korg as well.

Hi Dave,

I have a Motif XF8 and a MOXF8 as well, and both are hosting some of your Sound libraries. ;-)

Don´t you think about transfering some of your creations to Kronos libraries? I´d definitely like to see (and buy) your AXXE Guitars for Kronos for example, or those great vintage keyboards. Or are there copyright limitations in the way?
Cheers, Michael

I thought it was a different keyboard every thing on my keyboard sounded amazing. Drums seem brighter, all the wind and brass sound more realistic and the strings and guitars blow me away :D :D :D

clever use of layering . Guess it really depends on what your
using it for :)
