New Korg PA600 Owner

Post by Tblack »

My new Korg PA 600 is on it's way as I write this. I have already watched all of the online tutorials to get familiar with the keyboard and help me make my decision. What is this groups suggestion as to the best way to move forward from there to start having fun and learning the keyboard?

Thanks,

Terry :D

At first, just enjoy playing with the styles and the sounds/sts's, just to get in the groove. :-)

Then have a look at your global EQ settings, so you can create the sound setting which suits best to your taste.
It can make quite a big difference.

Then I would suggest to get familiar with the SongBook asap.
It's a great tool to manage your musical workflow.

Enjoy, it's a great sounding keyboard!

I agree with Frans. I would add that if this is your 1st Korg PA do not become frustrated if the OS seems a bit complex at first flush. Our PA600 is blessed with much of the versatility/complexity of the PA900/PA3X so it will take some time to wrap your head around all that it can do. I've owned my PA600 for ~2 years now and I'm still learning new techniques/possibilities. I love it!
