Where are you? US? Canada? Oz? Dollars vary!

Secondly, yes, 76 or 61?

A rough price for a 61 PA3X new is $3700 or thereabouts in the US. So $2600US seems pretty decent for a used one, particularly a store return (I guess we are assuming this is the original owner doing a return, not a used one getting returned by its second or third owner!). But as always, value depends on condition.

Personally, if the store has a good return policy (if distant from the seller, I would say ask for no 'restocking fee' if it proves to have problems you weren't informed about, but accept shipping costs of the return) you have little to lose trying it...

PA3X Price

Post by PAPAPETE »

Hello, You might want to check out these guys. Proaudiostar.com. I saw a refurbished PA3x they were selling on Ebay. When I called them to get details on the keyboard they made me an offer of $2949.00 for a brand new unit, with free shipping and no tax since they're in New York and I'm in Florida. They are located in Brooklyn and are an authorized Korg dealer, so warranties are not an issue. I received the keyboard in 3 business days. This was back in May, 2013 so I don't know what their price point is now, but it's worth giving it a shot.

Good luck in the hunt.

FWIW, I have done business with Proaudiostar, and they seem to be a really good company, and will negotiate prices. I have a new mic on the way from them now.

Ask the store if they give you warranty with it, get some history of the instrument.

Good Luck

I have found that Proaudiostar often advertises items as refurbished or demos but they really are not. They just can't advertise lower than MSRP prices and this gets around it.
I have made three purchases of items advertised this way and they all have been brand new.
Not saying this item is that way, but it could well be brand new.
