Hi,
I would like to play my Monotribe and my Monotron Duo through the same speaker. I plugged the jack in headphone for the Monotron and in Audio In for the Monotribe. But when I play the Monotron it only plays over the synth notes already playing in the Monotribe's sequencer.
I don't want to plug the Monotron Duo in the Output of the Monotribe because I want the Monotron filter only to be on the Monotron and not on the Monotribe and later to use another Monotron Delay as FX through the Output of the Monotribe.
Is that possible ? Does someone know how to do it ?
Thanks in advance !

Hi,
Unfortunately all monotron types and the monotribe have there AUX in input mixed with the oscillators before the filter. None of them have a bypass or audio through option to forward the AUX in signal straight away to the output/speaker. In the monotribe, the filter is even followed by the VCA and that is why you hear your sound only going through during the notes of the sequencer... So these are limitations that can not be avoided without introducing extra equipment like a mixer and monitors/speakers.
Bye.

Will this do the trick ?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000 ... uctDetails
The inputs and outputs are mono, will it work anyway ?
Or should I go for theses ones ?

Hi,
I think any of them will do the trick given the right cables and convertors.
On itself all monotrons and monotribe are mono. For the headphone output, the same signal is sent on left and right.
So, I don't think it is a problem.
Have fun.
