Kp3 editor wont open!! Mac Yosemite

Ive tried installing the latest kp3 editor which according to korgs compatibilty guide should work with yosemite. It just continues to bounce in the dock until eventually has a message saying "application not responding" has anyone got an idea how to fix this? Ive tried uninstalling and installing again and also tried the previous versions of the software only to get the same result. Any help is much appreciated
