Melody mute button quit working
I use midi extensively with my PA3x for a duet we perform 3 nights a week for the past year. Tonight, suddenly my melody mute button, which was assigned to button #3, quit working. You press it and nothing happens - it doesn't light red for a second and it doesn't mute channel 4. What could possibly be the problem? Help please?!?!?

Something weird happened right before this
Right before I realized the melody mute was not working, I had an issue with volume. My master volume slider seemed to go much quieter than normal so I had to turn the keyboard up on that slider all the way and increase the volume on the PA. The other slider that controls what I am playing with my right hand went super loud - had to turn it down almost all the way.... re-booted and it solved the problem but that's when I noticed melody mute was not working. Rebooted several times and still no melody mute. Even tried using buttons 1 or 2 for melody mute with no luck. Checked buttons 1 & 2 with DNC guitar and they were working fine. Super confused.

Not the issue
I don't think that is the problem. I only have a few songs I even need to hit the melody mute on...._I've either turned down or deleted the melody line on most all of them. This is the 2nd strange thing I've had happen. The other is that I can't save to the hard drive using a flash drive anymore - have to interface with a laptop and drag and drop the files.

Problem solved.
I am embarrassed to report the issue is solved. So many times it is something really simple that is the problem. I realized last night that the X-fader for going between midi players was closer to the idle rather than on one side or the other. Problem solved.
