Sorry if this has been asked here before. My forum search didn't turn up an answer.
I've got a Taktile 25 hooked up to Logic and it correctly goes into Native Mode with controls mapped for the mixer, which is all good. However, it seems that as long as Logic is running there is no way out of this Native Mode - the Control Mode button is disabled and the scene is locked to Logic Native Mode and cannot be changed. This means further parameters cannot be mapped to control plugins.
I've spent some time Googling and all I've come up with is that this is just the way it is unless you uninstall the control surface plugin and use the Taktile as a generic midi controller. Is this information correct or am I missing something?
Thanks.

Re: Taktile 25 - No Control Mode In Logic?
Hi there, I recently got a Taktile 49. I tried out the Logic plug-in download, and I did not like its setup whatsoever. I followed the uninstall instructions (remove it from your Mac/PC folder), as well as made sure to go into my Logic controller setup in the application and remove it from there. Essentially using it as a 'dumb' midi controller.jynx wrote:Sorry if this has been asked here before. My forum search didn't turn up an answer.

From here, you have a lot more options, as you can program key commands in logic so that rec/play/etc all work. Don't forget to turn on MMC in your project settings too. Once you are using the Logic scene, just make sure Controller Mode is lit up on the taktile.
There is a quite a bit of configuration, but more on Logic's end. I'm a bit confused on the Taktile to why someone would use the Target Mode, and not just use Scenes..
I'm also going to be creating a custom remote template for Reason, and that is going to be much more in-depth with scripting. The advantage here, is that all the instruments will just be auto-mapped without having to any CC learns.

Thanks for the response, Malfunkt. Looks like I'll have to do the same as you and uninstall the Logic plugin. It's a little disappointing since Korg seems to advertise that you can switch modes in Logic, but other than than I think it's a pretty good controller.Malfunkt wrote: Hi there, I recently got a Taktile 49.
