Hello All
I am really hoping someone can help me
I purchased a Korg TritonLE 76 Workstation a while ago
Recently, I went to save a piano setting
The keyboard displayed the message
"Now saving into internal memory"
Unfortunately now the it just stays in this state
On power up the keyboard displays
Starting system
"Now saving into internal memory"
and just hangs
The keyboard does not respond to
Enter+0+Power button press to do a factory reset
Is there a way to reload the operating system from
the smartmedia card?
I have obtained a service manual
All power supplies seem ok
+5v,3.3v,-10v
Please help!

Worth a shot. Download the latest operating system and follow the instructions, it "might" work.

Is it completely hung? No other function available on power-up?
If you could get into global menu to check the status of memory protect it might help - if memory protect is ON it could be keeping the write process from completing. Try turing it to OFF, then save, and cycle power.
You might also be due for a battery change. Usually low battery will compromise the machine's ability to hold patches in memory, but if it is trying to complete that queued process and unable to finish or confirm the save that could hang up the power-on routine.
There may be a power-on process (usually while holding down other keys) that will break the hang and either reset "factory" status or initialize memory. Worth a try at this point.
