Colored sliders and knobs for Kronos

Post by media-igor »

Bought a here color sliders and knobs.
https://store.djtechtools.com/chroma-ca ... and-faders

Today I received. I hope it will be easier to "live" performances (as it was convenient to OASYS - there all be highlighted). Attached good, no touch.

I really like the glow in the dark ones I got from them a while back. The knobs especially, it's so much easier to see the knob position on a dark stage.

The colored ones look really good, though.

I must be a colorless person leading a colorless life... It would not cross my mind to do such a thing with a keyboard..

They're the regular DJ sliders available at the link in the OP. I have the regular Super Knobs on mine.

Last photos helps us to understand their sizes. Although the size of the knobs and sliders - more than the original, they are well suited for Kronos.

Hmm, if they were wooden to match the endcaps to my K2 I would be interested in something like that.

You might try looking at guitar hardware sites. They have lots of wooden knobs for pots. I like the colors but if I read the site correctly that set of knobs and sliders would cost $48 plus shipping.

Holy cow, those look pretty darn like caps for "industrial" use.
They remind me of the control panels to Robots I program in a Beverage Company. Certainly not something I'd put anywhere near on my KRONOS.

Sharp.

So, all the knobs just pull off to remove them and press back on?

Of course this is not done in order to be beautiful! This is done only in order to make it easier and faster to navigate with the "live" performances.

I think they look slick, especially if you have a few pieces of hardware and you are trying to get a similar esthetic going on between them. I think they are a neat and easy way to do some custom cosmetic work on a variety of hardware, i know a few DJ's that appreciate the fudge out of the glow in the dark knobs and sliders.
