The search in a particular forum with some key words often finds a large number of threads not relevant to the search. Since the end of each post (or reply) may contains the list of equipments and software used by the authors, the search engine (parser) found these keywords and included the irrelevant threads.
Example: When I search for threads related to "Knonos", "Arturia", many of the found threads have Arturia in the list of equipment/software of one or more authors, but body of the message in these threads have no mention of Arturia.
This problem could easily resolve by having the search engine (parser) to ignore the equipment lists.
The results from searches often contain irrelevant threads!

I get your point, blocking searches from seeing what people add to their signature would help, but generally speaking searching for "kronos" here is as useless as searching for "The" on google.
It's far too vague of a search to run. Go get a successful search that's specific to your interests, you need to use better key words and also set the search engine to look in only the specific sections of the forum that interest you.
