Slow posting
Maybe its me, but its getting slower and slower when posting new threads or reactions to posts on the forum.. Looks like a backend issue to me

I find sometimes it takes seconds, sometimes I just give up. Bit other sites are like that as well.

It's going to vary somewhat based on the number of users currently online and what they are doing at any given movement in time. Seems people like to run a lot of searches.
There's also from time to time robots scanning the entire database. IP's from China for example seem to rip though the forum content.
Also, midnight GMT every night, there's a full database backup that will cause everything to stop dead for about 3 minutes while the backup runs.
Will still keep an eye on things though. I need some time on the forum myself to gauge things. My workload is totally mental right now and I've not even replied to any other thread in the last few days than this one so bear with me.
