VBass YES
VKeys YES
VBeats NO (Korgs Midi-chart says YES)
VSample NO (Korgs Midi-chart says YES)

Monotribe (midified) YES

MS20mini to be tested (Korgs super-slim Midi-chart says YES)

Sorry again, Gonstark - it´s a pitty if we can not even trust such basic supplier-information....

Thanks Chris. I wonder whether we should petition Korg to update these devices and make them behave as documented. I too also discovered the Sample doesn't respond to midi velocity as you stated. This is peculiar as there really isn't any reason why it shouldn't. I guess with the Beats being analogue there may be some archaic reason but certainly not in the cases of the Sample. And for crying out loud Korg, make the Sample respond to pitch over midi, it truly would be a killer product then!

Both the Volca Beats and Sample would benefit immensely if they could be addressed with Midi velocity. The Midi specification chart does claim that it recognises velocity values of 0 - 127 but in practise the units only output fixed level.

It's the opposite with me - I wish my Volca Keys DIDN'T respond to velocity, or that you could at least disable it. My MIDI keyboard doesn't have a fixed-velocity setting, and I don't like monosynths to respond to velocity! If you play a legato run and the first note is too quiet, it stays at that level until you release all the keys.
