electribe 2 pattern length ??? help

Post by awilx »

ok on my old esx, if i write a 4 bar loop and save it, i can then change the pattern length and all the whole sequence on every part will be copied.

Why cant i do this on the emx 2. aaaahhhhhhh

Am i missing something

4 bars is the limit. No more 8 bars like in the old EMX. However this ("Up to 64 steps for each part") was communicated and criticised prerelease.

The function is remaining, you just don't have 8 bars anymore. I think you don't even have to save anymore, if I'm not mistaking. Just make a two bar pattern, double the length and you should be good.

I don't think this is the case with the e2.

e2 fact: If you create a 1-bar pattern - then change the pattern length to 2, 3, or 4 bars, it copies the first bar into the new bars.
