Roland JDXA in White

Post by Michael Robles »

Found pics of a custom white version of the Roland JDXA. I think the interface looks better in white/red lights. http://www.matrixsynth.com/2015/06/cust ... white.html

I think the setting has a lot to do with why it looks good, in my little music area it wouldn't look so good but the original would.

Looks awful to me too. There's no accounting for taste! :)

Yea not my cup of tea either. I think it is the white environment it is in that gives it a better look, take it out of that room and ........

Indeed it looks much better than the black one they showed at NAMM.

Still not getting a hardon on the concept though. :?

It's the ideal synth design for Barbie's and Ken's living room.

I agree with Bertotti, it has a lot to do with the setting. I'm on the fence whether I like it or not. My rig has ended up with pairs of light and dark colored synths on top and bottom and it looks ok. Maybe need to pair the white edition with a Pro 2.

Regardless, although I initially wanted one, I'm not so sure now.

It would work well in combination with a white Yamaha motif xf, but then , who would ever buy a white motif?

Looks great! More synths should be white or silver.

I find the Oasys the best looking piece of keyboard technology of all time! It depends on taste, but that thing had that modern-edge feel to it. Plus, the silver/black mix was just perfect.

Might as well get an M3 too, while you're at it. ;)

I have grown to like the look of the M3 ... It's unique ... I think I'll keep her around.

I like the looks of the M3... Its color fits it just perfect, and if you use it as a module, its still the best way to add karma to your setup witouth adding an extra keyboard...
