TR recording

Hi everybody. I'm new with E2 and i would like to record some bass lines using TR recording metod, but i dont know how to choose the pitch of the sound. I activate the Secuencer button and by default it sound C3. Sorry i dont find the information in the manuals, is very basic.

Press "menu" button, navigate until you find "STEP EDIT", press ENTER there you can modify de pitch, pressing each pad.

Thank you. I can't switch keyboard mode and choose the pitch from keyboard?
