A bunch of keys on my microKorg are unresponsive or inconsistent. Some only put out very low velocity values, or need to be pressed hard at the back of the key to get any values at all. Other keys seem to randomly work or not work. I took it apart and cleaned the key pads, but it didn't seem to help. I'm not sure there's anything wrong with the circuitry, since the keys still work weakly. It works fine with an external midi controller.
Perhaps the keyboard just needs to be screwed on tighter? I'm reluctant to force it too tight.

That's not much info to work with.
Has it been exposed to liquids or very high temperatures? Humidity? Sand? Have children been abusing it when you weren't looking? Are there any suspicious looking stains inside it?
Check your power supply voltage (or try running it on fresh batteries), see if that makes a difference.

I don't know what else to say, it looks fine inside and hasn't been exposed to any abuse as far as I know...JohnS wrote:That's not much info to work with.

I tried running it on batteries and it acts the same. The power supply is the same that came with it, so the voltage is correct.
