Hi
I am perfectly happy with this one:

Carrying the 88 however is still not my favorite hobby....
They kept the case relatively light, so it does not add much weight to the Kronos.
They make them custom made for the model you need

I have been happy with the Gator 61 Key ATA case. The original Kronos 61 sits snug from side to side and there's enough room behind it to store my expression and sustain pedals as well as some cables and a small footswitch.

Which Kronos model do you have?
For Kronos 61 I use this:

Have gigged fairly heavily and it's held up well. I like the latches and it's nice to have wheels and handles both in the middle and at the end....and it's not very heavy either.

This is my favorite

Good placement of the wheels. The heavy rounded corners make the case glide easier when it is on its side. Metal hardware is durable. Light weight is a blessing.

I would go Gator or SKB because the wood based ones weigh a ton.
You might be OK as you have a 61 but the 73 is way too heavy for a single handle, I had a heck of a job but found an old Gator with two to spread the weight.

Gator case is just OK
I have an older model of the Gator ATA case for my X88. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/GKPE88TSA
The case has two velcro straps that keep the keyboard in place inside the case. There's no room in the case for any pedals or cables as the X88 uses up almost all the space which is kind of a bummer. This might not be the case with the X61.
I found my case used on Craigslist for $125 which was in my mind a good deal.
I highly recommend getting a case with wheels too.

Where in the world are you? I work for a company that builds road cases. We're called Clydesdale Custom Case and we are just east of Toronto in Canada.
