Load TR Rack voices into Trinity

Post by -Daniel »

Hi

is it possible to load a voice from the TR rack into the Trinity?
I own both a TR Rack and a Trinity Pro V3 (with all options).
I want to sell the TR rack but there is one voice on it that I don't want to miss (Combi Bank A, voice number 44).
How can I get that voice into my Trinity?

Hi Daniel.

I guess Trinitro could drag and drop voices from TR-Rack to Trinity sets.

However the TR-Rack has 8mb more waveforms than the stock Trinity (unless you have the PBS-TRI), therefore there's a chance that the waveform used on the TR-Rack may not be available on the Trinity.

What multisamples does that particular voice use?

You would have to look at the multisample waveforms used in Combi Bank A, voice number 44 on the TR-Rack and see if the TrinityV3 has those particular waveforms. If not, and if you have the PBS-TRI, you could see whether the waveform is on any of the PBS-TRI sets.

tr rack to trinity pcg

Post by Spacecowboy »

use trinitro. The rack has 4 banks, the trinity comes stock with only A, B.

Yes there will be some drums kits missing and a handful of waveforms, but all you have to do is edit them to avail sources on the keyboard. I didnt find that many missing source wavs.

it works great and once loaded in trinitro, if you only have 2 banks, you can create a second pcg and drag C, D to a new pcg for easy transfer. 90% of them seemed to work with me.

but you can do it, works great, small amount of patches need editing.
