Hi,
I wanted to control my Korg Kronos with my iPad Air 2 and vice versa. The cheapest thing seems to be to connect it via an Apple Lightning to USB camera Adapter. Does that work? Is it possible to use it as an MIDI IN an MIDI out? So for example to control the Korg Kronos with my iPad (and on the other hand record MIDI on my iPad for example in Garage Band meaning to use the Kronos only as MIDI Keyboard? Is both possible with the adapter?
Thanks in advance, all the best

yes, that works for audio and midi.
Only the iPad audiobus app won't work due to a different samplerate. But the other standalone apps will work.
Here are some examples and at the end of the videos you will see how to set up the kronos for use with an iPad.
using the kronos as midi controller for iPad apps

using iPad sequencers with kronos sounds.

yes, i use multiple ipads in the studio, and also an iPad Air2 with lightning to USB adapter, that works exactly the same.john.jackson1982 wrote:Thank you very much for your quick response. So then I guess it will work with the lightning to USB Adapter as well.
