Microkorg MIDI Clock/Note separation

Hi, I've connected my Microkorg up to a Volca Sample via a MIDI cable (the Microkorg ids the master) to get the timings synced which works ok, but it is also sending note data, ie. the current sample is triggered when pressing a key on the Microkorg. Is there anyway of stopping the note data being sent as I just want to send the timing info?

I don't think you can turn note data on/off.

Maybe you could set it to a different MIDI channel and the Volca will ignore it.
