Derek's Monster Lead: How to decrease volume??

Post by MacBad »

I have downloaded the "Sound Progressive Leader Collection". After that I want to use the "Derek's Monster Lead" in Combi.

Everything works fine but how can I decrease the volume of that sound without influencing the original monster lead sound? I mean, if I change the volume over the knob in the mixer, nothing happens from 127 until I reach 10. Down under 10 the sound begins to sounds very strange and does not sound like before. By the way, I also have these problems with some other lead sounds from that package.

Any suggestions for workarounds??

Try this

Have you tried lowering the volume at the end of the chain in P9: MFX/TFX/LFO (Marked "Master")? That should preserve the total sound while allowing you to control volume. The same thing would work with Combis or SEQs.
