Electribe E2 Pattern set

Hello there!
Does anyone know how to edit the Pattern set pads in order to assign any pattern to any pad?
I assume it should be pretty straightforward but i couldn't find any solution on the manual.
I think I'm missing something very basic about this feature.

Scroll to the pattern you want to set. Hold down patt set button + the pad you want the pattern on. Use the 1 2 3 4 buttons ( bar/octave) to access the 4 banks of 16 patterns.
