Move programs / combis to different locations?

Post by AlexJoKeys »

Hello,

Ive just searched the forums for 'move programs' but i didnt find anything obvious.

Is their an easy way to move a whole bank?

For example - Some of my combis are stored in I-E and I-F. - Is their a fast way of moving these to say U-A..ect?
Kind regards,

AJK

Without using external software, you would save a PCG file containing Combi Bank I-E (for example).

Then you would go to the Load Page, select that file, and press the OPEN button until you see Combi Bank I-E. At that point, you press LOAD, and it gives you an opportunity to load the bank into a different bank, such as U-A. So you've then loaded what was in Bank I-E into Bank U-A.

That doesn't move them; it copies them. They are now in both banks. Assuming you have OS 3.x, you can then go to a Combi in Bank I-E, and use the Page Menu to Initialize the whole Combi Bank, thereby erasing the originals.

For moving some programs and combis (and other things) I wrote the free software TidyKronos.

TidyKronos works very well ... another alternative is PCG Tools (see the link in my signature below).
