I've always though the talkbox was incredibly cool.
I'm going to attempt to make one from instructions I came across...

Has anyone experimented with a Talkbox?
Do you have any favourite patches, sounds, songs?
I just wanted to know if anyone could share their experience.
Talkbox resources are not as plentiful as I thought they'd be.
Daft Punk seems to be one of the only popular musicians who use the talkbox.
This guy is the only informative guy I came across, check out his videos. He's a wealth of information, with "How to's", Talk Box Tutors.

Hi. I recently purchased a talkbox. The one I got is pretty common. A lot the beginners purchase this Model It's called the Rocktron Banshee. It took me a while to figure the thing out. It's definitely very difficult to operate but I sorta got the hang of it. The one problem is getting a proper sound out of it. It seems like everyone uses the DX7 Saw lead to get the ZAPP/ROGER sound out of it. Have you had any success with it? I'm looking for some good PCGS for the Korg Triton or maybe even a multisample KMP file. |
